The Changing of Seasons.. Har Pal Yaha Jee Bhar Jiyo

The first lashings of Rain signal the end of summer in Auckland . Its been a good long hard summer with occasional rains but not the way the climate is when winter sets in. The DST effectively ends on the 6 April and Yeah Winter is well and truly on its way.

I associate Winter with all the lovely wollies I can wear. Just as summer for me is Mangoes ( that I have not eaten them in the last 3 years in a different story but I digress) and lassi and Gola ( its is literally crushed ice with syrupy flavours) .

Monsoon would be sekha hua Bhutta , adrak wali chai and pakoda

Winter In india is all fresh vegetables , Gajar ka halwa, Panjiri and festivals .

Here it will be dark mornings when you leave home lots of rains , dark evenings to reurn home to make the coffee in 1.20 in micro ... in mornings runs for the bus ....

yeah Winter is finally here ..

My favorite are mangoes and ice-creams in summers, bhutta during Monsoon & gajar ka halwa in winters :).
