Remembering Rocky

How can you remember who you never forget ?

Rocky holds a special place in my life . I owe a world of gratitude to Bhai for bringing him into our lives. I have always been terrified of dogs . Bhai saw a baby german shepard and got him home . He was christened Rocky . His Birthday Sep 4. A handsome frolicking naughty 30 day old german shepard waltzes into my life and life as I know it will never be the same again...

He wiggles his way into our hearts and even my mum who had a very strict no pets on the bed policy relented ... mornings would begin with taking Rocky for a run ... it was heart wrenching to leave him alone and go out of town ... evening spent playing with him me dad mum and bhai on the terrace , days when things were not going right u just had to look into his adoring eyes and realise that here is someone who loves you unconditionally . German Shepard and labs are the most intelligent of pets and Rockly was no different. He would know the firing of the vehicle. knew the times we would be in house and away .. would never step away from mum when we were not at home . Rocky was very territorial. He either liked you or disliked you ... and woe betide you if he took a dislike :)

He passed away 1 year back 4 days before his birthday .. I was away from home then ..Just as well I am not strong enough to say Good Bye to him nor yet ready to do so
