The International Film Festival of India (IFFI), in association with the Entertainment Society of Goa has organized a contest named T20 of Indian Cinema to select the top 20 movies. Here is the list of the Top 20 movies ever made in Indian Cinema.

Noticable Trivia.... The best movies were made in 1950 - to 1960's . 12 of the 20 movies have been made during this period .....1990 onward ?????????????? and people are happy with the Wake up Sids ......
8 of the 20 movies have Bengali directors .....
Such lists, even if you do not entirely agree with them, are a good list of recommendations for a lazy weekend even though most movies do not have happy endings and are more to do with pathos and apathy of society .....
