I finally saw 3 Idiots and more than pulling down the education system I thought the message of the movie was Humanism works and if you look at excelling instead of playing the number game to Kamyabi jakh maarke aayengi ... so true ... Yes the education in premier institutes is tough and Suicide rates especially in India are notorious but its not the curriculum that does the head in ..its the expectations from the Social atmosphere.. The Family ... the parents have sacrificed so much we owe it to them ... the friends ..what they think also matters ....so yes its not about how difficult the studies are ...MIT is the same so are medical colleges across the world ...

Rancho in the movie is a paragon ...too perfect has no family( Read no pressure to conform ) to speak of so its is relatively easy for him to be the different one ..for others its takes a life threatening situation to get the attitude. or to realize you have only 1 life and your family even if it hurts to have their image of you shattered for a while all they want is for the child to be happy...

I can write blissfully knowing that I am one the unconventional ones ...( No I am not in Ranchos shoes am hardly Ms Perfect let alone saintly ) I have been given the freedom to choose .. some battles have been uphill but at the end is the knowledge that the decision was yours so you are responsible for the good and the bad you have no one to blame ... that alone ensures victory cause failure is never a option.

Rancho again is emotional and remembers friends (ah yeah yeah ) , does not mind speaking out his mind even if the person in front does not appreciate it ( how well i know this) .. takes risks and lives life to the fullest ...again reminds me that life belongs to those who dare .. I can either dream and wait fro things to happen or go out and make things happens not easy but then what is easy ?

Of the songs in 3 Idiots the 3 that i loved best are Behti Hawa sa tha Vo, Jaane Nahi Denge and Give me some Sunshine .. all equally and unequivocally
