Flashback

So JS passed away yesterday ….  Where did I read death reaps a harvest and leaves no one?

I remember ...  listening to Mere jaise ban jaonge  when bhai was hooked on the song until I thought I would go off it for ever
I remember …  Sadma to hai mujhe bhi
I remember …  Tum Itna jo Muskura rahi ho perhaps one of the few JS numbers that Dad liked  along with yeh tera Ghar yeh mera Ghar
I remember … Pyaar Mujhse jo Kiya tumne to kya paaonge …. Nits
I remember telling Bhai about Pappy having the whole collection and I know the next thing I had one as well
I remember....  Pathar ke khuda pathar ke sanam pathar ke hi insaan  paaye hai ...tum sheher e mohabbat kehte ho Hum jaan bacha kar aaye hai

Another time  another country

I remember Chak Jigar ke see lete hai jaise bhi ho jee lete hai  from  A and R    day in day out for  weeks  until it became the greeting .. aap kahe to mar jaye hum aap kahe to jee lenge   and  for a while life seemed like that as well
I remember loudly on my car ..  Kothe Te aa Mahiya  and Dhai Din Na Jawani Naal Chaldi   on a Fri  night

Another time another country .. Introduced to JS  and  Shiv Batalvi  … Menu Tera Shabab le baitha   thanks Manu  and Jaach mainu aa Gayi Kham di

Yet another time yet another country  and the  voice is now silenced … but shall linger on as  long as poetry  ,  music  , romance and the soul walk together
