"I loved her against reason, against promise, against peace, against hope, against happiness, against all discouragement that could be."

(Charles Dickens, Great Expectations)

I believe love should be unconditional, boundless, everlasting. No matter if the whole world turns against you, you should stand your ground.

I believe love should be trust, respect, friendship. If all humanity swears by the book that your beloved is not right, you should affirm that the world is wrong.

I believe love should be passionate, caring, beautiful. To love another being is to love God.
I believe love should be poetry, song, music. Those in true love seek not worldly goods, for their world resides in each other's arms.

I believe love should be sunshine, pride, stability. Our true talent shines through when someone close to our heart believes in us, more than we believe in ourselves.

I believe love should be kind, patient, forgiving. Those who love don't judge each other by their flaws; they accept, mend, and heal all scars from the past.

I believe love should be soulful, gracious, full of life. A life without love is, simply put, a life without purpose. And a life without purpose is a life wasted away!

I've found that to be true also - that our true talent shines when someone close to us believes in us more tan we believe in ourselves.
